President
Bryan Wachter serves as President of the Retail Association of Nevada (RAN), leading the association's strategic direction while advancing the interests of Nevada's retail industry through advocacy, member engagement, and public policy. A respected voice in Nevada's business community, Bryan works closely with retailers, policymakers, industry leaders, and community stakeholders to strengthen the state's business climate.
With more than two decades of experience in government affairs, public policy, and state budgeting, Bryan has played a key role in shaping legislation affecting Nevada's retailers. He directs RAN's advocacy efforts before the Nevada Legislature and state regulatory agencies, ensuring members have a strong and effective voice on the issues that impact their businesses.
As President, Bryan oversees the association's day-to-day operations, communications, and strategic initiatives. Whether representing RAN before lawmakers, speaking with the media, or collaborating with business and community leaders, he is committed to building consensus and advancing practical solutions that support Nevada's retailers.
A lifelong Nevadan, Bryan earned his degree in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Reno. He continues to develop public policy, legislative strategy, and member engagement initiatives that advance the association's mission and strengthen Nevada's retail industry.
Outside of RAN, Bryan is an active volunteer with the Clark County School District, serving both at his children's school and as a high school debate coach. He is also involved in the North Las Vegas community, including coaching Little League.
